HELICOPTER TRANSFERS

Helicopter transfers to Hayman are available from Hamilton Island Airport, Whitsunday Airport – Airlie Beach, Proserpine Airport and Mackay Airport.

A 3-seater Robinson 44 helicopter is permanently based on Hayman while additional 2,4 & 6 seater helicopters are also available.

Luggage is restricted to soft bags only 30kg per person for heli-transfers with a total bag dimension of 140cm.

SEAPLANE TRANSFERS

Air Whitsunday provides seaplane transfers with all domestic airline services into the region. Transfers can be booked directly with Hayman Reservations or through Air Whitsunday. The approximate transfer time via seaplane is 15 minutes and includes views of Whitsunday Island, Hook Island, Langford Reef and Hayman.
