Helicopter transfers to Hayman are available from Hamilton Island Airport, Whitsunday Airport - Airlie Beach, Proserpine Airport and Mackay Airport.

A 3-seater Robinson 44 helicopter is permanently based on Hayman while additional 2,4 & 6 seater helicopters are also available.

Luggage is restricted to soft bags only 30kg per person for heli-transfers with a total bag dimension of 140cm.
