CONNECTING TO HAYMAN FROM GREAT BARRIER REEF AIRPORT

Hayman offers a luxury launch transfer from Great Barrier Reef Airport to Hayman. Alternatively, a seaplane transfer may be allocated at Hayman’s discretion. Upon arrival at Great Barrier Reef Airport, a member of the Hayman team will welcome you and arrange your luggage transfer for your connecting launch.

Enjoy refreshments and island views as the launch cruises through the spectacular Whitsunday Passage. All check-in formalities are completed on board to make your arrival at Hayman as smooth and relaxing as possible. Resort activities, dining experiences, and reef adventures may also be booked while on board. Upon arrival at the resort, you will be escorted to your room, and your luggage delivered shortly after.

Please be sure to book your connection to Hayman prior to your arrival. Luxury launch connections may either be arranged through your airline of choice or through Hayman Reservations.

CONNECTING TO HAYMAN VIA WHITSUNDAY COAST AIRPORT (PROSERPINE)

Jetstar and Virgin Blue operate services from Brisbane to Proserpine. Air services can connect from Proserpine to Hayman, or a boat transfer to the island is available from Shute Harbour.

To connect via seaplane from Proserpine to Hayman, contact Air Whitsunday on T (61-7) 4946 9111. The approximate transfer time via seaplane is 15 minutes and includes views of Whitsunday Island, Hook Island, Langford Reef and Hayman.

Travel from Proserpine to Shute Harbour for boat transfers is available by taxi or by coach service. For coach service bookings and information, contact Whitsunday Transit on T (61-7) 4946 1800. Advance bookings are essential. Contact us to book a boat connection from Shute Harbour to Hayman.

CONNECTING TO HAYMAN VIA MACKAY AIRPORT

Jetstar and Virgin Blue operate flights to Mackay via Brisbane. From Mackay, air transfers are available to Hayman or Great Barrier Reef Airport. Alternately, it is possible to travel by coach from Mackay to Airlie Beach and take a water connection to Hayman.
