Dannii Minogue stars in modelco celebrations on hayman
Australian personality, Dannii Minogue headed the star-studded line up of guests at ModelCo’s 10th Anniversary celebrations on Hayman during March.
The week-long activities saw some 60 VIPs partying day and night at Australia’s top playground in the Great Barrier Reef.
All had gathered on Hayman to honour the outstanding success of Shelley Barrett, Founder and CEO of ModelCo and the recognition enjoyed by this premier Australian brand of cosmetics and beauty products, which are available in the top retail meccas of the world.
The visit provided Hayman with a wonderful opportunity to showcase the unique attributes of Hayman’s stunning landscape, vast array of island activities and adventures which abound in the Great Barrier Reef neighbourhood.
ModelCo painted Hayman ‘pink’ for everyone to enjoy.
A beauty-inspired dining experience in the surrounds of the Hayman rainforest gardens featured sparkling lights and a long table glowing neon pink as guests feasted on magnificent seafood, Hayman’s signature Igloo dish and other beautifully presented courses – which included a special selection of ModelCo Lip Gloss filled with a delicious jam and a magnificent sauce in a ModelCo Spray Highlighter, the creation of Hayman Executive Chef, Glenn Bacon and his award-winning culinary team.
The following evening was all about major partying on the beachfront with gentle breezes and slowly lapping waves emanating from the peaceful Coral Sea, whilst, inside, everyone was rocking to the music coming from guest DJ, Jonny Powell and former Sneaky Sound System MC, Daimon Downey, as Moet & Chandon continued to flow well into the night.
The photographers were kept snapping for the entire week as ModelCo Ambassadors, Dannii Minogue, top Australian model, Cheyenne Tozzi and champion surfer, Sally Fitzgibbons posed for ModelCo campaign shots and magazine shoots with Hayman’s beaches, pools, lagoons and gardens providing a magnificent backdrop.

Girls' Getaway on Hayman

Celebration of Chocolate on Hayman
Hayman will be on everyone’s lips in April 2012 as the acclaimed private island destination in the Great Barrier Reef celebrates the world of chocolate, including fun Easter events and an appearance from the Easter Bunny.
A special guest on Hayman during April will be The Callebaut Ambassador for Australia, Kirsten Tibballs, one of the finest Chocolatiers and Pastry Chefs in Australia and Director of the acclaimed Savour Chocolate and Patisserie School in Melbourne.
The name Callebaut has been written in chocolate for more than 100 years and Kirsten will be introducing a selection of these wonderful creations on Hayman during the Celebration of Chocolate.
Events being hosted by Kirsten will include Callebaut Chocolate Master Classes and Callebaut Chocolate Appreciation Sessions.
Hayman’s signature dish for April will be the Hayman Chocolate Salad – a combination of four Callebaut chocolates and six textures with berries, dressed with lavender and native lime – which will be available each evening in all dining venues and priced at $23 per person.
A Tiffin High Tea, priced at $90 per couple, is being presented at 3.00pm each day in the Club Lounge and will include a glass of NV Moet & Chandon Champagne on arrival and a three-tiered presentation of Callebaut chocolate delicacies, scones and savoury dishes.
The Easter Bunny will arrive on Easter Sunday at 9.30am and there is an Easter Egg Hunt happening. A fabulous Chocolate Junior Hayman Chef will give children the chance to test their skills, with imaginations running freely as they create the next best thing in chocolate. This fun time is part of the Hayman Kids Club Ranger Program offering lots of great indoor and outdoor activities for the resort’s young guests.
